I just love the 4th of July!! Not only for the fireworks but for the meaning of it. To celebrate the freedom we have as American’s. Thank you to all the servicemen out there protecting us and defending our freedom. Hats off to each and everyone of you. To the families of these servicemen….. thank you for your dedication and sacrifice!
This year I remembered to take my tripod with me as we settled in for our annual family fireworks watching party in Midlothian, Texas. After a few settings adjustments, I got to capture some amazing fireworks as they exploded in celebration!! I hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful 4th of July.

I have been waiting on this little guy to enter the world for a while now!!! When mom called me to tell me the good news, I was soo excited. Then I asked if dad was able to make it. Dad joined the Army and had just finished Basic Training when his new little PVT was born! Since he was in between basic and AIT, they let him sneak home to meet his son. He got to watch the birth of his son via video capabilities on cell phones! I just LOVE technology sometimes
What an awesome moment for them. It just gives me chills thinking about it!!!
The joy I have in capturing newborns is indescribable! Their sweet innocence is something I would love to bottle up and take home with me. Lil Dugan was amazing and let me play with him without too much of a fuss. I loved that dad was able to be there so I could capture their new life together for him.
My heart goes out to this sweet little family. Dad is away again to finish out his training. Hopefully they will find out where the next chapter in their life will start out, soon. Thank you so much for your service PVT Dugan! Hopefully your little guy will follow in your footsteps!!!

I just love this family! C is a good friend of mine and such an amazing woman. So much stronger than she gives herself credit for. To watch her with her precious kids is inspirational. No matter what is going on, her focus is on them. The relationship she has with each one is special and so different. If anyone could be called WonderWoman, it would be her!!!
I love you C!!! I look forward to many more happy, fun filled, giggly moments with you and the kids!!

It’s not too late to sneak in your 2011 Senior Pictures.
I got to spend some time with Mr. J in Waxahachie! Oh my, what a great location and what a great young man. I went to school with his mom and when she asked me to do his senior session I was happy to. He is such a respectful young man!
We spent an hour and a half walking from amazing spot to amazing spot. I guess I should have warned him beforehand
We talked about his plans after graduation and senior life. Kathy & Steven, you should be exceptionally proud parents!!!! You two have done an amazing job!
J, I wish you the best of luck in all that you do!

I soo love newborns. Their smell, their pure innocence, their amazing creation, and their sleepiness! My husbands great friend had a precious baby girl and I had the pleasure of playing with her when she was only 5 days old! Princess A was so sweet and cuddly.
She is going to be spoiled rotten. The only girl with two big brothers….. Look out boys, she has full fledged protection when she gets older! You don’t mess with a baby sister.

Models will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Your newborn session can either be held in the comfort of your own home or in my home studio. I do have travel restrictions, so please make sure you are within 40 miles of Mansfield, Texas if you wish to hold the session in your home.
A model release will be signed at the beginning of the session. Please allow up to 4 hours for your session, as I work around the newborn’s schedule and want to allow for enough time for them to eat so they are good and sleepy during the session.
If you have any questions or would like to be apart of our Newborn Modeling Call, please call Lori at 817.999.8378. I look forward to playing with your new bundle of joy and capturing their first days!!!

I am telling you, there is nothing like the smell of Bluebonnets on a cool spring afternoon! Well, having your two little munchkins in those Bluebonnets, can top it!!!
We had so much fun running around and trying to find ladybugs in the field. That was the only thing I could do to get the princess to touch them!!!
There is still time to schedule your session in the Bluebonnets! I am offering mini’s on your schedule!! Got 20 minutes, then we can have some fun! Give me a call to get all the details.
